Ukraine imports $1.07 bln in fuel in Jan-April

Ukraine imported petroleum products (foreign economic activity code 2710) worth $1.066 billion in January-April 2015, including $310.857 million in April.
The country imported fuel from Belarus worth $520.205 million in the four months, Russia – $237.255 million, Lithuania – $88.854 million, and other countries – $219.512 million, according to the State Fiscal Service.
In addition, in January-April 2015 Ukraine exported petroleum products worth a total of $46.464 million. The value of fuel delivered to Cypriot counterparts was $17.256 million, Italy – $5.573 million, Switzerland – $3.628 million, and other countries – $20.008 million.
The foreign economic activity code 2710 includes not only petrol and diesel fuel, but fuel oil, jet engine fuel and some other specific products.
At the same time, in January-April 2015 Ukraine did not import oil (code 2709), while oil worth $1.527 million was exported to Lithuania.
