S.Korea’s WP, KOMIPO seek coal for Sept-October

Korea Western Power Co Ltd (WP) and Korea Midland Power Co Ltd (KOMIPO) are seeking coal via separate tenders, the South Korean utilities said on their website.

WP is seeking a total of 225,000 tonnes of steaming coal for October shipping. The tender will close at 11 a.m. (0200 GMT) on Aug. 5, according to a notice on its website www.iwest.co.kr/eng/.

KOMIPO is seeking up to 80,000 tonnes of anthracite coal for September shipping, and the tender will close at 2 p.m. (0500 GMT) on Aug.5, its website said. www.komipo.co.kr/kom_eng/.
