Expansion of“K” Line Maritime Academy (Philippines) Training Centre

“K” Line approved “K” Line Building Phase-2 Project for the further development of “K” Line Maritime Academy Philippines (KLMA Phils) in Pasay city. This project comprises of the construction of a new 11 story building which will include additional comfortable accommodation (225 persons) and a K-Line Clinic for our seafarers, and the expansion/upgrading of existent training facility which will ensure the continuous competency building, upgrading and development of its Filipino Seafarers.
The “K” Line Building Phase-2 Project, which will be completed in January 2018, additionally allows KLMA Phils’ the opportunity to continuously improve its services, i.e. to provide world class training programs to “K” Line Seafarers at its best.

The Official Ground Breaking took place on July 01, 2016 with VIP guests from the government of Pasay City, Maritime and Education Authority, Executives from affiliate Ship Management and Manning Companies, as well as Top Executives from Japan “K” Line Head Office.
“K” Line, moving forward to its 100 Years Anniversary celebration in April 2019, is optimistic that the years ahead will offer many opportunities to improve the lives of Filipino Seafarers and their families, as we work hand in hand to achieve our common goal to provide reliable shipping services to our customers worldwide.
